PTC has an unparalleled record for innovation. Almost all of the equipment we have developed has been conceived in response to requirements from our clients to address shortcomings in the equipment they were currently using.
Our approach has never been to copy existing equipment instead we have come up with completely new innovative designs which fully addressed the identified shortcomings as opposed to just tweaking them. We have intentionally recruited some of our design engineers from outside the oil industry to ensure this.
A great example of this is our SafeLift™ Gas lift valve which turns gas lift design on its head and has resulted in a metal / metal seal valve that is proven to be erosion resistant, chatter free, can be specified to deliver zero leak performance, and is rated for operating at up to 10000 psi!
